The recount was completed and Hubert Hoffman was again declared the winner
Thomas Downer was ABSENT from today's recount. This is evidence that the recount was used to disenfranchise the residents of District 19 by preventing then from having a voice at the County Board Restructure Meeting on April 15.
Now that the recount is concluded, and the results known, I hope that the La Crosse County Board can find some remedy to almost 8,000 residents having no say in who leads the county.
